Our industry used to be the standard in customer service. It was a time when the customer didn’t even have to get out of their vehicle. At the ‘ding’ of a bell, a team of well-dressed associates would rush out to the car. They’d pop the hood, check the oil, top off the fluids, and clean the windshield. It didn’t cost the customer anything extra except maybe a smile and a thank you.
But somewhere along the way, our dedication to service was lost. Auto shops suddenly turned into strange places that treated customers as if it was going to be the last time they’d be doing business together, which all too often turned out to be true.
The good news is that even though auto repair has gotten away from the gas pump, it hasn’t abandoned customer service. We believe those days have left behind more than just fond memories—they have given us a goal to shoot for.
Our industry was once the pinnacle of customer service. Although the good old days have past, what they stood for has now been preserved.
We can help service professionals recapture that.
